Toronto stocks end lower as energy shares drag
TORONTO, June 3 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index closed lower on Tuesday, erasing earlier gains in a volatile session as energy and gold-mining issues led the way down amid a selloff in commodities.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 78.39 points, or 0.53 percent, at 14,735.79. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
