Toronto stocks jump early with oil in driver seat
TORONTO, June 6 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index jumped off the blocks Friday morning, rising 100 points to within 50 points of its record, as soaring crude oil drove up energy shares.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 100.08 points, or 0.67 percent, at 15,082.99.
