Toronto stocks slump 2 pct amid resource selloff
TORONTO, June 10 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index stumbled further on Tuesday, shedding 300 points asresources followed commodity prices lower, and undermined by a surprise decision by the Bank of Canada to hold interest rates steady.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 300.15 points, or 2.01 percent, at 14,660.61 in afternoon trading. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Bernadette Baum)
