Toronto stocks slide as resources tumble

TORONTO, June 18 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index tumbled 100 points on Wednesday, as energy and other resource issues fell and oil prices retreated.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 101.42 points, or 0.67 percent, at 14,967.41. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr)
