Toronto stocks slide further, dragged by energies

TORONTO, June 19 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index tumbled 100 points on Thursday morning amid falling energy shares and data that showed a jump in inflation for last month.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 100.29 points, or 0.7 percent, at 14,972.84. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Scott Anderson)
