Toronto stocks tumble 100 pts as RIM weighs

TORONTO, June 26 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index stumbled at the open on Thursday, weighed down by a sharp decline in Research In Motion RIM.TO, after it gave a profit outlook that fell short of expectations.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 100.74 points, or 0.7 percent, at 14,340.39. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Scott Anderson)
