Toronto stocks extend losses in broad decline

TORONTO, July 3 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index fell sharply for a second straight session, giving up more than 1 percent on Thursday morning, led by declines in resources, while negativity over the global economic outlook persisted.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 205.19 points, or 1.5 percent, at 13,828.92. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Scott Anderson)
