Toronto stocks turn negative as credit woes weigh

TORONTO, July 14 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index retreated into negative territory on Monday, dragged down by weak financials amid deepening anxiety over the U.S. credit crisis.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 2.07 points at 13,707.03 at midday. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
