Toronto stocks drop as commodity prices fall

TORONTO, July 23 (Reuters) - Weak resource shares took the Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index lower on Wednesday, hurt by a drop in commodity prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 118.77 points, or 0.87 percent, at 13,524.42. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
