Toronto stocks extend gains as resources climb
TORONTO, July 30 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index jumped more than 300 points on Wednesday afternoon, propelled by resource shares as the energy sector rose along with oil prices.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 301.39 points, or 2.26 percent, at 13,643.94. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
