Toronto stock index slumps 100 points at open
TORONTO, July 31 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index opened 100 points lower on Thursday, reversing its previous gains, yanked down by the heavily-weighted financials and energy sectors.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 100.50 points, or 0.7 percent, at 13,582.71. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Scott Anderson)
