Toronto stocks jump 1 percent on resources

TORONTO, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index jumped more than 100 points at the open on Wednesday, pushed higher by energy and materials stocks amid a broad rebound following a tumble in the previous session.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 133.97, or 1 percent, at 13,376.17 (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Scott Anderson)
