Toronto stock index slumps 100 points at open
TORONTO Aug 8 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index opened 100 points lower on Friday, yanked down by weak oil and gold prices and July Canadian jobs figures that came in much weaker than expected.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 104.75 points, or 0.8 percent, at 13,280.42. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
