Toronto stocks end lower as resources retreat

TORONTO Aug 11 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index slid on Monday as resource issues were knocked back by weak commodity prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 129.32 points, or 0.97 percent, at 13,212.42. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
