Toronto stocks get lift from commodity prices

TORONTO, Aug 13 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index climbed on Wednesday, shaking off declines in financial and consumer stocks, as resource shares bounded higher with commodity prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 101.92 points, or 0.77 percent, at 13,268.92. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
