Toronto stocks push higher with commodity prices

TORONTO, Aug 13 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index extended gains on Wednesday afternoon, pushed higher by resource shares that strengthened along with commodity prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 200.89 points, or 1.53 percent, at 13,367.89 with less than an hour to go before the closing bell. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
