Toronto stocks slip 100 pts on commodity stocks

TORONTO, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index opened 100 points lower on Thursday, yanked down by the heavyweight energy and materials sectors.

Shortly after the open, the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 100.58 points, or 0.75 percent, at 13,276.64. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Janet Guttsman)
