Toronto stocks pulled higher by resource shares

TORONTO, Aug 19 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index popped up into positive territory on Tuesday as strength in resource shares overshadowed worries over the U.S. economy and more fallout from the credit crunch.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 3.51 points at 13,122.88. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
