Toronto stocks pressured by economic fears

TORONTO, Aug 19 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index sagged on Tuesday, pressured by festering worries over the credit crunch and U.S. economic outlook that offset a rally in commodities.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 47.81 points, or 0.36 percent, at 13,071.56. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
