Toronto stock index jumps 200 pts on commodities

TORONTO, Aug 21 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index rose 200 points on Thursday morning as energy and materials shares climbed with commodities prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 200.15 points, or 1.5 percent, at 13,550.29. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
