Toronto stocks rally on stronger commodity prices
TORONTO Aug 21 (Reuters) - The main index of the Toronto Stock Exchange finished about 1.3 percent higher on Thursday, as energy and materials producers rallied on the back of stronger commodities.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 172.69 points, or 1.29 percent, to unofficially close at 13,522.83. (Reporting by Wojtek Dabrowski; editing by Peter Galloway)
