Toronto stocks slide as resources, banks weigh

TORONTO Aug 25 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index extended losses on Monday morning in a broad slump, pulled down by resource and financial issues.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 100.68 points, or 0.75 percent, at 13,346.61. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
