Toronto stocks climb further on resource strength

TORONTO, Sept 11 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index rallied further on Thursday, recovering from a nearly 3 percent drop earlier in the day as resource shares led the way higher.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 102.78 points, or 0.82 percent, at 12,599.93 at midday. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
