Toronto stock index jumps 2.7 percent at open

TORONTO, Sept 30 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index opened sharply higher on Tuesday as oil recovered and markets hoped a deal for a bailout for Wall Street would come soon.
