Toronto stock index falls 200 pts on energy, banks
TORONTO Oct 7 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index fell more than 200 points on Tuesday afternoon, yanked lower by the heavyweight energy and financial services sectors on persistent worries about fallout from the credit crisis.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 201.49 points, or 1.97 percent, at 10,028.94. ($1=$1.10 Canadian) (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
