CANADA STOCKS-Toronto index falls 3 pct on oil worry
TORONTO Oct 27 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index fell more than 3 percent on Monday afternoon as oil and gas stocks fell along with weaker crude prices, which were pressured by fears that the faltering global economy would dampen demand for fuel.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 307.30 points, or 3.31 percent, at 8,986.79. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
