CANADA STOCKS-Toronto turns negative after 2.5 pct gain
TORONTO Oct 30 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index unraveled a 2.5 percent gain from early in the session and turned negative just ahead of midday on Thursday as energy and material shares weighed on the index.
Shortly before noon, the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 4.83 points at 9,496.73, after jumping more than 200 points early in the session. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Rob Wilson)
