CANADA STOCKS-TSX index turns positive as oil climbs

TORONTO, Oct 31 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index .GSPTSE turned positive on Friday afternoon after falling more than 2 percent earlier in the day as the price of oil rebounded.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 33.80 points, or 0.34 percent, to 9,810.01. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Rob Wilson)
