CANADA STOCKS-TSX index falls as energy issues sag

TORONTO, Nov 3 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index closed slightly lower on Monday as oil and gas issues retreated as the price of crude was pulled lower by demand concerns.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 44.40 points, or 0.45 percent, at 9,718.36. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan)
