CANADA STOCKS-Rising oil prices push TSX up at open

TORONTO, Nov 4 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index .GSPTSE gained 2.2 percent at the open on Tuesday as commodity-related issues advanced as oil prices firmed on supply cuts.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 216.44 points, or 2.23 percent, at 9,937.70, with eight of its 10 main groups higher. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; Editing by Peter Galloway)
