CANADA STOCKS-Commodity demand worries pull TSX down
TORONTO Nov 5 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index closed sharply lower on Wednesday as oil and mining shares fell as commodity prices dropped on worries that demand is slowing as the world economy falters.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 269.63 points, or 2.67 percent, at 9,846.95. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
