CANADA STOCKS-TSX up as commodity shares get China boost

TORONTO, Nov 10 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index closed higher on Monday as energy and materials issues rose on underlying commodity prices, which got a boost from China's big stimulus package.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE closed unofficially up 86.52 points, or 0.9 percent, at 9,682.73. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
