TORONTO, Nov 12 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index .GSPTSE fell more than 5 percent on Wednesday afternoon in a broad decline led by the energy and materials groups, which sank as commodity prices were pressured by demand concerns fueled by economic gloom.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 503.67 points, or 5.34 percent, at 8,920.33. All 10 components of the index were lower. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
