CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls on commodities, gloomy U.S. data
TORONTO Nov 14 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index retreated broadly on Friday, led lower by weakness in energy and materials issues and on gloomy U.S. retail sales data that heightened worries about a deeper economic downturn.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 319.54 points, or 3.42 percent, to 9,033.24. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
