CANADA STOCKS-Financials, resources deepens TSX fall

TORONTO, Nov 17 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index sank more than 2 percent on Monday afternoon as gloomy sentiment from a deteriorating world economy hit financial services and commodity-related issues.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 201.46 points, or 2.22 percent, at 8,854.50. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Rob Wilson)
