CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes higher as financials gain

TORONTO, Nov 28 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index rallied to its sixth straight gain on Friday as Canadian financials tracked U.S. stocks, which rose on investor hope that stimulus efforts unveiled this week would boost the economy.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 359.23 points, or 4.1 percent, at 9,113.00. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
