CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as oil, gold prices firm
TORONTO Dec 2 (Reuters) - Toronto Stock Exchange's main index rose at the open on Tuesday after sliding 9 percent in the previous session, pulled higher by resource shares as oil and gold prices firmed.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 113.80 points, or 1.35 percent, at 8,520.01. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
