CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive after opening drop

TORONTO, Dec 5 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index turned positive shortly after the open on Friday as all non-commodity based sectors advanced and outweighed lower resource prices and worries of steep job losses in Canada and the United States.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 1.68 points to 8,059.50. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
