TORONTO Dec 8 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was up more than 500 points late Monday afternoon as a rebound in oil prices helped spark a broad-based rally in the resource-heavy index
At 3:32 a.m. (2032 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 500.37 points, or 6.16 percent, at 8,617.40, with all of its 10 main sectors higher. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Rob Wilson)
