CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends higher, energy shares provide thrust
TORONTO Dec 10 (Reuters) - Toronto's key stock index ended higher on Wednesday as signs of reduced oil supplies sparked a rally in energy shares, but financial issues dropped and capped the gain due to worries about a bailout for U.S. automakers.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 213.42 points, or 2.54 percent, at 8,610.98, with six of its 10 subindexes higher. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
