CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as BCE, US auto fears weigh
TORONTO Dec 11 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Thursday, pulled down by the collapse of the leveraged buyout of BCE Inc(BCE.TO: Quote) and by uncertainty over the fate of the bailout of the U.S. auto industry.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 17.67 points, or 0.2 percent, at 8,616.33. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
