CANADA STOCKS-TSX 200 points lower as EnCana weighs
TORONTO Dec 11 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was down more than 200 points by late afternoon on Thursday in a broad-based decline as shares of oil companies followed EnCana Corp (ECA.TO: Quote) lower after it cut its capital budget.
At 2:50 p.m. (1950 GMT), the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 213.69 points, or 2.47 percent, at 8,420.31, with all 10 of its subindexes lower. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Rob Wilson)
