CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes 3 percent lower as EnCana weighs
TORONTO Dec 11 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index sank more than 3 percent on Thursday as oil and gas company EnCana Corp ECA.TO led a broad-based skid after it cut its capital budget, while nagging economic concerns hit financial shares.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 262.26, or 3.04 percent, at 8,371.74, with all 10 of its subindexes lower. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
