CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls on financials, miners rise
TORONTO Dec 15 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index ended lower on Monday as mining stocks stood out as the lone bright spot in a broad decline that was led by financial shares.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 56.43 points, or 0.66 percent, at 8,459.02. (Reporting by Cameron French; editing by Peter Galloway)
