CANADA STOCKS-TSX sinks 400 points as oil drop weighs

TORONTO Dec 18 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell more than 4 percent on Thursday afternoon in a broad selloff led by weakness in energy issues as oil slid on demand concerns.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 402.76 points, or 4.62 percent, at 8,321.35. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Frank McGurty)
