CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as oil issues fall
TORONTO Dec 22 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Monday as the energy sector fell as the shares of several big oil companies were downgraded by analysts.
Just after the open, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 27.88 points, or 0.3 percent, at 8,524.12. (Reporting by Scott Anderson; editing by Peter Galloway)
