CANADA STOCKS-TSX jumps 2.5 pct as Mideast tensions boost oil
TORONTO Dec 29 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index jumped 2.5 percent after the open on Monday, bolstered by the materials and energy sectors as tensions in the Middle East supported oil prices.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 203.51 points to 8,514.06. All 10 of the index's main groups were higher.
