CANADA STOCKS-Falling oil price pressures TSX at open
TORONTO Dec 31 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index opened lower on Wednesday as the falling price of oil outweighed broad gains in most other sectors.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 33.90 points, or 0.38 percent, to 8,796.82 after the market opened, before popping into positive territory. ($1=$1.22 Canadian) (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Janet Guttsman)
