CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive on stronger energy sector
TORONTO Jan 5 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index moved into positive territory on Monday after falling more than 100 points earlier, as heavily weighted energy shares rallied and more than offset a drag from gold issues.
At 10:40 a.m. (1540 GMT), the the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 4.03 points at 9,238.14. Earlier, it had fallen 118.15 points to 9115.96. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Rob Wilson)
