TORONTO, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell 2 percent shortly after market open on Friday as the weighty energy and financials groups dropped on falling oil and U.S. banking worries.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 165.64 points, or 2 percent, at 8,019.71. Nine of the index's 10 main groups were lower. Materials was the lone sector advancer, spurred by gains in gold miners. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
